Hey Van’s Fans!
One of my absolute favorite national days of recognition is Mother’s Day! My mom is such a huge inspiration for me when it comes to all things food. She is responsible for giving me my spirit of adventurous eating, and for getting me in the kitchen so early that by age nine I was able to easily prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for our family. So for me, Mother’s Day all about getting creative and showing mom the result of all she has taught me.
This Mother’s Day I created a Peanut Butter, Banana & Honey Waffle French Toast! Yes, it’s definitely a mouthful to say, but super simple to make and very delicious. Basically, my strategy in the kitchen is mixing and matching my favorite ingredients and flavors in surprising ways, and because I love Van’s Waffles and French toast, I thought why not make a waffle French toast and fill it with some of mom’s favorites! The result is pretty yummy. I hope you give it a try! If you do, let me know on Instagram @heyhaile #Van's Simply Delicious #kidscancook2
Have a healthy, active, positive & purposeful day!
